mohican state park fly fishing jeanette

I grew up fishing rivers and streams for bass with my father this is what led me to learn how to fly fish. This is not a rare phenomenon for the large number of anglers who try to outwit this seemingly dim-witted fish.

It seems to be more of an adventure than fishing in a pond or a lake because you will usually have to walk a long way on land and in the water just to find some of the best spots. Keep your thinking caps on while fishing and also just hang loose while the fish size you up. Once you find a small river or stream that contains rainbows, the equipment that you need to catch them is fairly simple.

On my first time out to cover some new water, it's all about the crankbaits and I do expect to lose a couple of them, but it's worth it to catch a few bass. Even if you make a choice now as to which type of fish you want to fish for, you needn't fish for that one type all the time, it's just that many anglers do have a preference. Certain phases of the moon mean that the fish will be much more active.

If you want to catch more and bigger trout, start using the weather and moon to your advantage when trout fishing. Good Luck!
